Zip Lines Coming To Vegas Strip
If you’re planning for a memorable trip to Las Vegas, you will be excited to hear that Caesars Entertainment is planning to build a zip line on the Strip. And it will be the first ever on the boulevard. The attraction will be called Fly Linq and will consist of 10 lines that will launch riders at the Linq Promenade.
What Are The Plans For This New Zip Line?
It is said that building the zip will cost around $20 million (£15 million) to build. The general manager of the Linq Promenade, Shaun Swanger, thinks that it will become part of a package with other Caesar Entertainment activities.
Riders of the new zip line will ascend from The Linq Hotel, to the top of the tall launch tower. There, they will have the choice between riding seated or in a flat position. They will then descend 1,080 feet east along the shopping centre to the High Roller Ferris wheel. A platform will be built there to receive more riders and will exit through the building.
It’s Not The First In Las Vegas
It isn’t the only zip coming to the Strip. Steve Wynn also has plans for a zip line as part of the Paradise Park project. These won’t be the first zip lines in Las Vegas. Fermont Street is already home to the SlotZilla zip line which debuted in 2014. The zip line at SlotZilla is 77 feet high and is 1,700 longer but lower than the planned Fly Linq zip line.
